Develop a multimodal machine learning approach using routinely available EHR-based
healthcare utilization and unstructured clinical text data to develop a measure of orthopaedic treatment success.
Our Approach
We are transforming how orthopaedic treatment success is defined and measured. By integrating structured healthcare utilization data with unstructured clinical text from EHR systems, we are developing multimodal machine learning approaches that generate computable, scalable measures of treatment outcomes. This work redefines outcome measurement in musculoskeletal care using real-world data.
